Some help please.

Now that we know that Baby Harris is in fact a boy, the next hurdle is figuring out how to do his nursery. It has to be cute, obviously. I've been laboring over finding a suitable bedding set, which has been very, very difficult. Why?

I am anti-airplanes, trains, bugs, farm animals, Disney characters, etc. when it comes to bedding. Unfortunately, 98% of everything I see is immediately eliminated due to my list of "anti"s.
The only animals that I wouldn't hate seeing in Baby Harris's room are elephants or zebras. Not both of them together. Yes, I realize that I am beyond picky.

Here are a few nursery sets that I don't hate. Please let me know what you think. And no, I am not crafty enough to sew the nursery set myself.

This one is from Pottery Barn kids. Note the zebras. Ben says, "Zebras have a weird vibe" but I don't know what he's talking about.

I love this one, but apparently my baby will die of SIDS or someting if I pick this one, or at least that's how I felt after talking to my mom.

Love this, very cute, but pretty pricey.

A little too animal-y for me, but cute. I would only buy the crib skirt, bumper, and possibly mobile. Too many elephants for me!

Anyway, I need some opinions. What do you like/not like?

I like the elephant one...where did you find it? I'd like to see if they have other cute sets?
Hope you're feeling well. I spoke to your mother-in-law at church on Sunday. She's super excited for your guys! :-) I'm sure you are too. Take care!

I totally agree with the whole no animal bright colors etc. I found that looking at the pottery barn ones gave me the best ideas. My bedding ended up not playing as crucial of a role that I thought it would since I couldn't find any I liked and in my price range. I just got a chocolate brown bumper, found sheets I liked, and my MIL made a quilt. I decorated the rest of my room so it all worked together.

Pretty much, ALL you need is the cute bumper. I love the zebra and elephant personally...very cute.

Yeah the bedding thing is HARD! I was anti all the stuff you listed. I went with a color theme. Brown, blue, and green.

Honestly all you need is a cute bumper and skirt. I use a solid dark brown sheet and found a cute bumper w/ stripes and an argyle design that fit my color scheme.

good luck!

LOVE the SIDS one...but is that an option? I agree with all your dislikes. And I might be able to add a few of my own if I wanted... Let us know what you choose!

No, wait, Chrissi - I found it! Go look at my blog--I think you'll reconsider.
(Who would ever do that to a baby?):)
Let's get together sometime soon--I think a double date would be fun!
