So long 2009.

I can't believe that a decade of 2000's has already flown by. Seriously, I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when 1999 clicked over to 2000. Oh how life has changed!

Love, marriage, college degree, career, baby...

Even more recently, I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when 2008 clicked over to 2009. Ben and I were having a fabulous time ringing in the new year at Sundance's Owl Bar. I had no idea at the time, but I was probably barely, barely pregnant with Dylan that night.

This year we are not at the Owl Bar dancing the night away... we are at home, watching Greys Anatomy, happy as clams. We spent the evening with some of our best friends and our sweet boy. Parties are fun, but sometimes it's even nicer to have a quiet night at home with your party of 3 + 2 cats.

2009 really was a happy new year, and I'm convinced that 2010 will be even better.

Very nice post! Dad and I spent the evening at home as well... we've discovered that being cosy at home with family is the best way to celebrate a new year. Have a wonderful 2010! You have an exciting year ahead of you...seeing the world through Dylan's eyes makes it all magical again. Watching him discover and learn-- all miraculous. ENJOY
