I'd say that we're set.

Last night Ben came home from work with a ginormous cooler. I asked him what the cooler was all about, the told me to open it. I did so a little fearfully, because you never know what Ben will bring home... it could have been anything from a puppy to old car parts (but it better have not been a puppy).

I opened it up and saw it filled with beef, all different cuts and whatnot. Ben's boss had slaughtered one of his cows {cringe} and wanted to give us a ton of beef.

I have never had so much meat in my freezer- in fact, I had to clean out all the junky 3/4 empty packages of tater tots, frozen dinners, etc. that had been lying around for the past year in order to make room for the beef.

Here's a picture of our freezer after unloading all the meat:

{Beef. It's what's for dinner}

Anyone want to come over for a cook out? We'll provide the meat.

{Special thanks to Eric and Cindy for giving us a ridiculous amount of meat. Your generosity is so appreciated}

OMG. i am SO jealous. we used to get a 1/2 cow every year when i was a kid. and then my MIL would get one too and it was amazing. and now i wouldn't mind 1/2 of a pig and 1/2 of a sheep too. YUM. i love me some animals. ps. i mean, i love our boss. but seriously - ben has the BEST boss in the entire world. ever. i completely support him in NEVER leaving that job.
