No longer a solo hobby.

After weeks of begging, I finally convinced Ben to go to yoga class with me.

Guess what: He loved it! I totally knew he would, but it took him forever to swallow a big boy pill and come with me to class. For some reason, he has a phobia of going to classes at the gym. It's probably because most classes are at least 75% female. We go every Monday night at 24 hour Fitness, which is our little FHE activity. Ben on his blue mat, me on my purple one.

My next project is convincing him to go to spin class with me. Wish me luck!

Yeah...there's no way Jared would ever come to Yoga with me either!! I'm afraid my "spiritual exercise" classes will always be solo. The funny thing is my class is about 60% female...so a lot more men than I expected. I look around at the guys in the class and I try to picture Jared doing the sun salutation and I pretty much start laughing in the middle of class. So, I've even had to stop imaging Jared attending Yoga with me. :-)

That's great. Corky was way against yoga until we did p90x and he hated the fact that it was part of the program. Then he did it once and LOVES it. I don't love it. I love what it does for my body but WHILE I am doing it I hate it. Good thing I have Corky now days.

I wish I lived near you because I would go to a spin class with you. I hear it totally kicks your butt but in the most awesome way. And go Ben for going to yoga!

I can relate...just got Dan to do his first triathlon (well, he did a team). I just wanted him to experience it and knew he would enjoy it too. Its so fun to do healthy stuff together :)
