Watershed date.

Note to self:

Today is a very important date in my history of being a mama. Today I was able to paint my fingernails while Dylan was awake!

If you're not a mom you may be confused as to why this is such a cool thing, so let me tell you why it rocks:

It means that Dylan is old enough to entertain himself for 20+ minutes without me having to worry about picking him up or do constant behavior interventions, thus ruining mah nails.

I've always waited until Dylan was asleep to do my nails, because he would inevitably need something from me as soon as they were painted, but I'm happy to say that Dylan is one self-sufficient kiddo (for the most part, at least).
