What to do.

At the beginning of August, the Governor decided that State employees would be switching to a 4-day workweek. I'm still deciding if I'm a fan of this, because getting through four 10-hour days is a beast, but having a 3-day weekend every week is kind of wonderful. The only problem is I can't figure out what to do with my time. I just feel so unproductive. Any ideas on how to make my solo-Fridays more fun?

Remember when we all had Fridays off second semester of freshman year? I think we filled our time with sleeping extremely late, ordering pizza from Helaman Halls, and having dance parties (or elevator parties). We also made sure to spend as much time in our pajamas as possible and watch all of your VHS tapes.

I think that makes for an excellent Friday schedule. I'm jealous.

When I was growing up, my dad worked four 10 hour days and had every Friday off. He would come to our school and volunteer in the office almost every week. We thought it was pretty cool. Maybe you can find something to volunteer with, or use that day to visit friends/family. Or just make that your laundry/cleaning/errands day so that way you guys have your weekend completely free to do what you want. Whatever you do, have fun! :)
