Day 29: A song that makes me cry.

This is a tough one for me, since I really can't think of any song that brings me to tears. Does that mean that I'm an emotionless robot? Possibly. There are a few songs that I just love and always stir up some type of emotion in me. Here are a few of those songs:

Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole

This song is special, because it was the first song that Dylan heard after being born. Ben was very insistent that Dylan hear good music from the start, so when he was about an hour or two old Ben played Dylan his first song.

What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong

This song was used in a slideshow at my grandparent's 50th anniversary dinner and it made me realize what a great life I have and how blessed I am to have such an amazing family.

The Promise by Tracy Chapman

This is me and Ben's song. Ahhh the mushiness of it all. This is the first song that Ben and I ever danced to- outside of his car somewhere up Provo Canyon. It was very romantic, let me tell you. This is also the song we danced to at our wedding.

The random songs that make me cry are "Say" by John Mayer and "Dog Days" by Florence and the Machine. The Florence one really boggles my mind but I tear up every single time.
